Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Bullock, Montgomery, and Macon

More severe storms are crossing I-85 again between eastern Montgomery and Tuskegee.

The highest winds are east of Mitchell. They are well over 60 mph. This will be pushing southeast toward Union Springs.

Storms are building all the way back through Coosa, Chilton, Shelby and even southern Jefferson Counties.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Bullock County in southeastern Alabama…
Southwestern Macon County in southeastern Alabama…
Eastern Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 403 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hardaway, or
8 miles south of Milstead, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Tuskegee, Union Springs, Midway, Milstead, Shorter, Franklin,
Aberfoil, Franklin Field, Beans Crossroads, Shopton, Davisville,
Waugh, Liverpool, Hardaway, Mount Meigs, Tysonville, Victoryland,
High Ridge, Fort Davis and Brassell.
