New severe thunderstorm warning for several counties in Central Alabama including the rest of Jefferson County and the Birmingham Metro.

Also, new warning for Cleburne County.

A severe thunderstorm watch continues until 8 p.m. CDT ahead of a powerful line of storms.

People are trapped in vehicles on Tabor Road on Noccalula Mountain near Gadsden in Etowah County from falling trees.
