* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Western Lauderdale County in northwestern Alabama…
Western Colbert County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 730 PM CDT

* At 649 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Savannah,
moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Florence, Cherokee, St. Florian, Underwood-Petersville, Waterloo,
Mt Hester, Riverton, Wright, Barton and Oakland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature’s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
