A Brief Early Afternoon Update

Rain and storms are lined up from Hamilton to Reform to Tuscaloosa to Clanton and up to Talladega, and are moving to the southeast around 30 mph. Gusty winds can be expected with these storms, but as of now, no severe weather watches or warnings are in effect.

The strongest storm on the map is affecting portions of Elmore, Autauga, Lowndes, Montgomery, Coosa, and Chilton counties, and it is moving to the southeast at 40 mph. Gusty winds in excess of 40 mph can be expected; strong enough to knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
