New Warning for Lamar and Pickens for Another Hailer Coming out of Columbus MS

Glad to have the Birmingham Radar back.

New hailer near Columbus MS has prompted a new severe thunderstorm warning for Lamar and Pickens Counties.

This new storm will roll down US-82 through Macedonia, Reform, Gordo, and Elrod south to Carrollton. They already had 2.75″ or baseball sized hail in Coalfire less than an hour ago.

Already a huge hail core is over southeastern Pickens County. It will be approaching the interstate just after 7 p.m.

One hour rainfall amounts are over 2″ in a large area of the US-82 Corridor with more heavy rain to come. Flood advisories are in effect.
