East Alabama Under the Gun for High Winds

A powerful bow echo extends from Weaver to east of Anniston and Oxford in Calhoun County, then back to Talladega.

Folks in Talladega, Clay, Randolph and southern Calhoun and Cleburne Counties need to be in a safe place as this dangerous set of storms approaches.

New severe thunderstorm warning for Perry and Dallas Counties including Marion and Selma.

Good news: the tornado watch is canceled for Jefferson, St. Clair and Walker Counties. It continues for Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Bullock, Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Pike, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, and Tuscaloosa Counties till 5:00 PM CDT.
