The NWS in Tallahassee just issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Dale and Henry Counties in Alabama in addition to two Georgia counties.

Strong to severe storms extend from Eufaula to Clayton to Louisville and Brundidge. Others are between Luverne and Georgiana. The strongest storm is west of Eufaula. It has indications of 1″ hail. Damaging winds to 60 mph are possible.

Other storms are just north of the US-80 Corridor from York to Demopolis to north of Selma and Millbrook to near Eclectic and Auburn.

Everything is pushing southeastward as the lines of convection are dropping slowly southward. The storms should be out of Alabama by 5 p.m. this afternoon.
