The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Pickens County in west central Alabama…

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 1047 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bent Oak, or
8 miles southwest of Columbus, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Aliceville, Carrollton, Pickensville, Ethelsville, Memphis,
McMullen, Garden, Benevola, Johnston Lake, Bevill Lock And Dam,
Gainesville Lake Campground, Dillburg, McShan, George Downer
Airport, Owens, Pioneer, Cochrane, Forest and Macedonia.
