The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Marion County in northwestern Alabama…
Northern Lamar County in west central Alabama…

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 845 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Tremont to near New Salem to near New Wren,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Hamilton, Haleyville, Sulligent, Guin, Hackleburg, Detroit,
Beaverton, Weston, Brinn, Crews, Bear Creek, Twin, Henson Springs,
Rankin Fite Airport, Upper Bear Creek Reservoir, Pine Springs,
Marion County Public Lake, Piney Grove, Tessner and Shottsville.
