Tonight’s Guest WeatherBrain is the WCM at the NWS Indianapolis. He graduated with a degree in meteorology from Purdue University. He will be the on-site meteorologist for this year’s Indy 500. Sam Lashley, welcome!
Also joining us tonight is AlabamaWX Blog’s very own Scott Martin. He earned his operational meteorology certificate from Mississippi State University in 2015. In May 2021, he received his Bachelor’s in Geosciences Operational Meteorology from Mississippi State. He co-founded Racecast Weather in 2014 as a way to combine his love of racing and weather. Scott Martin is an operational meteorologist, professional graphic artist, musician, husband, and father. Not only is Scott a member of the National Weather Association, but he is also the Central Alabama Chapter of the NWA president. Scott is also the co-founder of Racecast Weather, which provides forecasts for many racing series across the USA. He also supplies forecasts for the BassMaster Elite Series events including the BassMaster Classic.
