Strong Storms Moving across Northwest Tuscaloosa, Northeast Pickens, Southwest Fayette and Southeast Lamar Counties

| April 21, 2023 @ 7:13 pm

Strong storms across southwestern Fayette into northern Pickens Counties are going to move into northwestern Tuscaloosa County over the next 30 minutes.

Good bit of lightning with this activity, which appears it may be organizing into a mesoscale convective complex. Winds will gust to 40 mph and rainfall will be heavy. There will be small hail too.

We are monitoring carefully in case they do become severe with damaging winds the primary threat.
