The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northwestern Cullman County in north central Alabama…
Southwestern Morgan County in north central Alabama…
Southeastern Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 330 AM CDT.

* At 305 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Brushy Lake,
or 13 miles south of Moulton, moving east at 60 mph. This storm
has a history of producing tornadoes, and could intensify at any
moment.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Cullman, Hartselle, Falkville, Vinemont, Somerville, West Point,
Eva, Cole Springs, Battleground and Lacon.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for north central,
northeastern and northwestern Alabama.
