EXPIRED Tornado Warning (Observed) — Parts of Colbert, Franklin Co. Until 2:15 am

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
South central Colbert County in northwestern Alabama…
Northwestern Franklin County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 215 AM CDT.

* At 140 AM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located near Red Bay,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This tornadic storm will be near…
Belgreen around 200 AM CDT.
Russellville around 210 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Pleasant Site, Cedar Creek Reservoir, Srygley Church, Dempsey,
Crooked Oak, Isbell, Rockwood, Halltown and Little Bear Creek
Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

Tornadoes are extremely difficult to see and confirm at night. Do not
