EXPIRED Severe T-Storm Warning — Parts of Jackson, Madison Co. Until 1:30 am

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Jackson County in northeastern Alabama…
Central Madison County in north central Alabama…
Franklin County in Middle Tennessee…

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1240 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Monteagle to near Winchester to New Market to
Huntsville, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Huntsville, Scottsboro, Winchester, Bridgeport, Moores Mill,
Redstone Arsenal, Decherd, Estill Springs, Stevenson and Cowan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows. These storms have a long history of producing
widespread damage across northern Alabama and southern middle
Tennessee!!!

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for north central
and northeastern Alabama…and Middle Tennessee.
