CANCELLED Tornado Warning — Parts of Franklin Co. Until 12:15 am

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Eastern Franklin County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 1215 AM CDT.

* At 1124 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Weston, or near Hamilton, moving northeast
at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include…
Russellville, Phil Campbell, Hodges, Tharptown, Isbell, Duketon,
Spruce Pine, Rockwood and Little Bear Creek Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial
shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. This storm has a
long history of producing strong tornadoes and could cycle again!
Seek shelter right now!!!

Heavy rainfall may hide this tornado. Do not wait to see or hear the
