The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Southwestern Colbert County in northwestern Alabama…
Northwestern Franklin County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 830 PM CST.

* At 758 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Belmont, or 7 miles northwest of Red Bay, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near…
Red Bay around 805 PM CST.
Belgreen around 830 PM CST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Pleasant Site, Pogo, Cedar Creek Reservoir, Srygley Church, Dempsey,
New Bethel, Crooked Oak, Little Bear Creek Reservoir and Halltown.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
