CANCELLED Severe T-Storm Warning — Parts of Cullman Co. Until 6:45 pm

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Western Cullman County in north central Alabama…

* Until 645 PM CST.

* At 602 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Smith Dam, or
10 miles southeast of Arley, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Cullman, Hanceville, Good Hope, Dodge City, Baldwin, Vinemont,
Garden City, Colony, Phelan and Wilburn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CST for north central
and northwestern Alabama.
