Severe T-Storm Warning: Parts of Clay Co. Until 1:45 pm

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Clay County in east central Alabama…

* Until 145 PM CST.

* At 1239 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Sycamore to near Stewartville, moving east at
55 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Lineville, Ashland, Delta, Barfield, Cleveland Crossroads,
Cragford, Hollins, Roselle, Lake Chinnabee, Millerville, Mellow
Valley and Gunthertown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CST for east central
Alabama. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 600 PM CST for
east central Alabama.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
