Tornado Watch Update: A Few More Counties Removed from 1st Watch

NWS Birmingham has cancelled the Tornado Watch for Pickens and Walker counties in Central Alabama as the threat of severe weather has ended. The watch continues until 1 pm for Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Chilton, Coosa, Etowah, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Perry, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tuscaloosa counties in Central Alabama.

The 2nd Tornado Watch continues until 5 pm for Autauga, Dallas, Elmore, Lowndes, Marengo, Montgomery counties in Central Alabama.
