The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Sumter County in west central Alabama…

* Until 1045 AM CST.

* At 954 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lauderdale,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Livingston, York, Cuba, Epes, Bluffport, Boyd, The University Of
West Alabama, Old Mallard Airport, Payneville and Belmont.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CST for west central
Alabama.
