The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southwestern Talladega County in east central Alabama…

* Until 230 PM CST.

* At 201 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Oak Grove, or
over Sylacauga, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Sylacauga, Oak Grove, Sycamore, Sylacauga Municipal Airport, Gantts
Quarry and Mignon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CST for east central
Alabama.
