Tornado-Warned Storm Passing Northwest of Vicksburg

| December 13, 2022 @ 10:55 pm

Update at 11:04 p.m.

The storm was apparently cycling and is stronger again. The tornado is approaching the Mississippi River north of Tallulah. Chasers Brandon Copic and Vince Waelti are still on the storm, along with Brad Arnold. A very impressive lightning show is illuminating the large lowered base. The chasers are running out of road options though and the storm will escape their scrutiny.

The storm is moving toward Yazoo City, which has had more than its fair share of tornadoes.

ORIGINAL POST
A very dangerous storm has been producing tornado touchdowns just south of I-20 in northeastern Louisiana is passing northwest of Vicksburg.

Chaser Brandon Copic and his chase partner Vince Waelti are on the storm on I2- west of Tallulah. They are in the Bear’s Cage in heavy rain right now.

That is Brandon’s feed in the top right corner. There has been lots of lightning.

Fortunately, the storm appears to be weaker. It is crossing the warm front, which will be the kiss of death. But there is a new tornado warning that has been issued for Madison and East Carroll Parishes in Louisiana and Madison, and Issaquena and Warren Counties in Mississippi.

There are currently four tornado warnings across the Mississippi Delta and one south of Alexandria LA.

And for Alabama…let’s hear it from The Man:
