Alabama NewsCenter — Sean of the South to speak at University of Alabama’s OLLI Day

Author, blogger, essayist and TV pitchman Sean Dietrich, better known as Sean of the South, is coming to the University of Alabama as part of an event promoting the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).

Dietrich, who recently moved to Alabama from Florida, will be part of “OLLI Day,” scheduled to take place Monday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bryant Conference Center on the UA campus.

“We are excited to welcome Sean to OLLI Day,” said Ashley Chambers, director of OLLI at UA. “His fans enjoy his published work in magazine and newspaper columns, many books, online and social media blogs, and his in-person speaking events. Sean has an insightful and honest approach to humanity.”
