Severe Thunderstorm Watch Has Been Cancelled; Severe Threat Over For the Evening
NWS Birmingham has cancelled the Severe Thunderstorm Watch that was in effect until 9 pm for the following counties in Central Alabama: Dallas, Greene, Hale, Marengo, Perry, Sumter. While a few storms continue to move southward across the southern portions of the area, the overall risk for severe storms has dissipated.
