A new study by a team of professors from the University of Alabama’s College of Communication and Information Sciences will examine the effectiveness of public messaging to help residents along the Gulf Coast stay safe during hurricanes and other extreme weather events.
Cory Armstrong, professor of journalism and creative media, Matthew VanDyke, assistant professor of advertising and public relations, and Brian Britt, associate professor of advertising and public relations, are supported on the project by the the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium.
