The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Marengo County in southwestern Alabama…

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 939 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles northwest of Pennington to near Butler,
moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Linden, Thomaston, Sweet Water, Myrtlewood, Putnam, Freddie Jones
Field, Nanafalia, Consul, Magnolia, Wayne, Surginer, Miller, Dixons
Mill, Vineland, Half Acre, Carleys, Octagon, Clayhill, Nicholsville
and Calvary.
