NWS Birmingham has added Marengo and Sumter counties in Central Alabama to the SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH effective until 9 pm tonight.

NWS Birmingham continues the SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH effective until 9 pm tonight for Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Bullock, Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Pike, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, and Walker counties in Central Alabama.
