CANCELED — TORNADO WARNING: Parts of Montgomery, Pike Co. Until 11:30 am

…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN PIKE AND SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES…

At 1109 AM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Ansley, or 9
miles northwest of Troy, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include…
Troy, Troy Municipal Airport, Linwood, Orion and China Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

* Tornado Warning for…
Northwestern Pike County in southeastern Alabama…
Southeastern Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 1049 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Rutledge, or near Luverne, moving
northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
