Northern Pickens County in west central Alabama…
* Until 900 PM CDT.
* At 813 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Prairie Point, or 9 miles southwest of
Pickensville, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Gordo, Reform, Carrollton, Pickensville, Ethelsville, Bevill Lock
And Dam, Owens, North Pickens Airport, McShan, Lubbub and Shaw.
