Showers Moving Out of the Area at Midday

MIDDAY UPDATE: At midday, the shower activity has moved down into the extreme eastern down into the southeast and southern parts of Central Alabama, mainly along the I-85 corridor. The rest of the area have mainly cloudy skies. Temperatures as of the 12 pm roundup were in the mid 40s to the lower 60s across the area. Haleyville was the cool spot at 46º, while the warm spot was Troy at 61º. Birmingham was sitting at 48º.

REST OF YOUR SUNDAY: Those showers will continue to push through the remainder of the area and eventually exit the area by the evening. Skies will stay relatively cloudy throughout the rest of the daylight hours north and west of those showers. Highs should top out in the upper 40s to the upper 60s across the area from northwest to southeast. Overnight lows will range from the lower 30s to the mid 40s.

MONDAY’S WEATHER: The good news is that much drier conditions with warmer temperatures will return on Monday, as skies will eventually become sunny during the morning hours. Afternoon highs will top out in the upper 50s to the mid 60s across the area.
