Gov. Kay Ivey told state economic developers Tuesday that Alabama has “the most successful and robust economy in the history of the state” and said, “Let’s work together to make this year one for the record books.”

Delivering the keynote address at the Economic Development Association of Alabama’s 2022 Winter Conference, Ivey built on the message Alabama Commerce Secretary Greg Canfield delivered the day before – noting the economic wins in a year when COVID-19 and other disruptions threatened to limit growth.
