The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
North central Jefferson County in central Alabama…

* Until 845 PM CST.

* At 816 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Arkadelphia,
or 8 miles northeast of Sumiton, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Warrior, Kimberly, Trafford and County Line.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CST for central
Alabama.
