Flood Warning for Parts of Cullman Co. Until 1:45 pm; Flash Flood Warning Canceled

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
Northwestern Cullman County in north central Alabama…

* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 106 PM CDT, Areal flooding will remain possible over the next
hour or so resulting from earlier heavy rainfall this morning.
Standing flood water can be expected and some low water crossings
will continue to flood during this time.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Cullman, Baldwin, Vinemont, West Point, Jones Chapel, Logan and
Battleground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
