Severe T-Storm Warning for Parts of Lowndes Co. Until 3:15 pm

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southern Lowndes County in south central Alabama…

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 220 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of
Gordonville, or 9 miles southwest of Mosses, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Fort Deposit, Mosses, Gordonville, Lowndes County Airport, Logan,
Beechwood, Calhoun, Mount Willing, Clover Hill and Letohatchee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
