The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Walker County in central Alabama…

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 205 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Jasper,
moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Jasper, Curry, Smith Dam, Smith Lake, Raccoon Branch, Powellville,
Manchester, Gamble, Boldo, Walker County Airport and Lupton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

building.
