The following counties have been added to the severe thunderstorm watch, effective until 10 a.m.: Bibb, Cleburne, Greene, Hale, Shelby, Sumter, and Talladega.
Otherwise, the severe thunderstorm watch continues for Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Etowah, Jefferson, Pickens, St. Clair, Tuscaloosa, and Walker Counties until 10 a.m.
