The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
East central Jefferson County in central Alabama…
West central St. Clair County in central Alabama…

* Until 1030 AM CDT.

* At 958 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Springville to Trussville to Birmingham, moving
northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Birmingham, Homewood, Mountain Brook, Trussville, Irondale, Leeds,
Moody, Springville, Odenville, Center Point, Clay, Pinson, Tarrant,
Margaret, Argo, Ketona Lakes, B.j.c.c., Chalkville, Kingston and
Five Points South.
