Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for Parts of Autauga, Chilton, Coosa, Elmore, Lowndes, and Montgomery Counties

The line of storms over South Central Alabama is surging eastward tonight, indicating an enhanced threat of damaging winds.

The line is approaching I-65 from west of Clanton to west of Montgomery to west of Greenville.

Mobile has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Butler County, including Greenville.

The line of storms is moving through the eastern and southern parts of the Birmingham Metro area. Heavy rain, lightning, and loud thunder are accompanying the storms.

A tornado watch continues for areas across South and Central Alabama ahead of the line.
