The names of the communities are too familiar: Hueytown, Rock Creek, Oak Grove, Sylvan Springs, Concord, Hueytown, Pleasant Grove, McDonald’s Chapel. The tornado that is currently on the ground just northeast of Brookwood in Tuscaloosa County is heading your way.
The storm has a clear Bounded Weak Echo Region, couplet, Tornado Vortex Signature, hook echo, and has shown tornado debris!
There is tornado damage along Lock 17 road near Brookwood.
A second developing tornado is right behind the first.
