Sunny for Most at Midday; Clouds Diminishing for the Rest
If you don’t have full sunshine in your location, just give it an hour or two and all of Central Alabama will be experiencing sunny skies. Temperatures as of the 11:00 am roundup were in the mid-60s to the lower 80s across the area. It’s 64 degrees behind the cold front in Eufaula and 82 degrees ahead of the front in Eufaula. Birmingham was at 71 degrees.
WEATHER FOR THE REST OF YOUR TUESDAY
Like I mentioned earlier, a few locations in the southeastern parts of the area have some clouds in the sky while the rest of the area have sunny skies. By the time we get to the mid-afternoon, skies will be sunny across all of Central Alabama. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 70s to the lower 80s across the area. It will clear and cool for tonight as overnight lows dip down into the mid-40s to the mid-50s.
WEDNESDAY’S WEATHER
I guess you would call it “Chamber of Commerce” weather for your Wednesday as there will be tons of sunshine and no clouds to disrupt the view of the cobalt blue skies. While temperatures will be warm, humidity values will be low and it will feel great outside. Afternoon highs will top out in the upper 70s to the lower 80s across the area from northwest to southeast.
RELITIVELY QUIET IN THE TROPICS
We have one disturbance in the Central Atlantic Ocean around 500 miles east of the Winward Islands that has become a little less organized. Upper-level winds will become less conducive throughout the day, so some slight development may occur over the next several hours. By tonight, any further development will be halted due to those winds. For now, the NHC is only giving this disturbance a low 20% chance for development over the next 5 days.
