CANCELED Severe T-Storm Warning for Cullman, Morgan Co. Until 5:15 pm

…THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTH CENTRAL CULLMAN AND
SOUTHERN MORGAN COUNTIES IS CANCELED…

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been canceled. However heavy rain is
still possible with this thunderstorm.

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
North central Cullman County in north central Alabama…
Southern Morgan County in north central Alabama…

* Until 515 PM CDT.

* At 448 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hartselle,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Hartselle, Priceville, Falkville, Somerville, Eva, Lacon, Florette,
Massey and Cole Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature’s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
