The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
South central Marengo County in southwestern Alabama…

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 550 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Dixons Mill,
or 10 miles northwest of Thomasville, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Sweet Water, Wayne, Miller, Dixons Mill, Half Acre, Octagon,
Clayhill and Nicholsville.
