The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southwestern Chilton County in central Alabama…

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 552 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Parnell, or
14 miles north of Valley Grande, moving northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Maplesville, Parnell and Stanton.
