The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
Northwestern Cullman County in north central Alabama…
Southwestern Morgan County in north central Alabama…
Southeastern Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 235 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in
the warning area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Decatur, Hartselle, Priceville, Falkville, Baldwin, West Point,
Battleground, Massey, Lacon, Jones Chapel, Logan, Crane Hill,
Smith Lake and eastern Bankhead National Forest.
