In Alabama, sooner or later, summer always reaches the point where the combination of heat and humidity can be dangerous for some people. Those days are upon us again.

Parts of west Alabama have been under a heat advisory the past couple of days. Although no advisory is expected today, with some of the year’s hottest weather so far forecast for the next few days, it’s time for a refresher on keeping yourself and those around you safe.
