At 940 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Barber Motorsports Park, or near Leeds, moving south at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Birmingham, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Irondale, Leeds, Moody,
Chelsea, Indian Springs Village, Vincent, Harpersville, Westover,
Shops of Grand River, Bald Rock, Vandiver, Barber Motorsports Park,
Greystone, Highland Lakes, Cahaba Heights, Fowler Lake and The
Summit.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
