…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN WALKER…CENTRAL
TUSCALOOSA…SOUTHWESTERN SHELBY…NORTHEASTERN PERRY…BIBB AND
SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTIES UNTIL 300 PM CDT…

At 209 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bankhead Lock And Dam to near Harrisburg.
Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include…
Bessemer, Hueytown, Brent, Centreville, Dora, Pleasant Grove, Lake
View, Brookwood, Coaling, Sylvan Springs, Vance, Woodstock, West
Blocton, Maytown, West Jefferson, North Johns, Gorgas Steam Plant,
Bull City, Lake Wildwood and Low Gap.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
