EXPIRED – Flash Flood Warning for Parts of Barbour and Bullock Counties till 4:00 PM CDT

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Southern Bullock County in southeastern Alabama…
Northern Barbour County in southeastern Alabama…

* Until 400 PM CDT.

* At 1256 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen, with locally higher amounts. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Midway, Clayton, Pickett, Hawkinsville, Aberfoil, Spring Hill,
Comer, Barbour County Public Lake Dam, Beans Crossroads, White Oak,
Lakepoint Resort State Park, Boot Hill, Tanyard, Batesville,
Clayton Municipal Airport, Perote, Lugo and Mount Andrew.
