Severe T-Storm Warning: Parts Of Marengo & Sumter Counties Until 2:15 AM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northern Marengo County in southwestern Alabama…
Southern Sumter County in west central Alabama…

* Until 215 AM CST.

* At 119 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Snell, or 17
miles southeast of Meridian, moving northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Demopolis, Livingston, York, Linden, Uniontown, Cuba, Jefferson,
Epes, Myrtlewood, Faunsdale, Dayton, The University Of West
Alabama, Dug Hill, Pin Hook, Bluffport, Coatopa, Kinterbish,
Chickasaw State Park, Old Mallard Airport and U.S. 80 and AL 28.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CST for central,
southwestern and west central Alabama.
