The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Advisory for…
    Southwestern Fayette County in west central Alabama…

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 338 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
    Around one to two inches of rain have already fallen over the past hour or so, over areas that saw heavy rainfall yesterday as well.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Fayette, Berry, Bankston, Stone Wall, Fayette County Public Lake and Richard Arthur Field.
